Welcome to SafeWay Boating LLC.
Whether you are new to powerboating or looking to increase your confidence in docking and maneuvering in close quarters or open water, our National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) Boat Control On-Water Training Modules are for you. The On-Water Training Modules are designed to teach boat handling skills to recreational boaters or personnel hired to operate a vessel used in marine patrol.
The training is provided on your own boat and will be conducted by a USCG Licensed Master Captain who is also a NSBC Certified Instructor. You can choose from up to 4 sequential modules that progress from safety gear and the pre-launch checklist to docking and operating in close quarters to operating in open water with advanced maneuvers. Each maneuver is repeated, advancing from idle speed to displacement mode to planing mode. While the ideal boat for training is a Center Console up to 26 feet, we will always attempt to accommodate other models.
SafeWay Boating LLC is based in Southern NH. We are available to travel to the NH Seacoast, Southern Lakes Region, and local waterways to facilitate training. We are also available to travel further north in NH for a travel fee, so feel free to contact us to discuss further.
